Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Mat, and I hold space for those who feel deeply, think differently, and have walked through fire.
I work with people from all walks of life—neurodivergent individuals, trauma survivors, misfits, seekers, and those in the sacred process of deconstructing—not to fix or diagnose, but to witness and walk beside.
This practice was born from my own journey through trauma, transformation, and the deep ache of not fitting in. Like many, I learned to survive by hiding parts of myself. But healing began when I stopped striving to be “better” and started learning how to be whole.
Led by faith, not fear, I began the long work of coming home to myself. Therapy gave me language, and life gave me experience. Along the way, I discovered the quiet power of parts work—of naming the inner voices, honoring the pain beneath the pattern, and learning to listen with compassion.
I trained through the Jay Shetty Coaching Certification program not to become an expert—but to become a better listener. To create the kind of presence I longed for: grounded, gentle, spacious.
One thing I’ve learned is this: Our stories may be different, but the ache of being misunderstood is universal. So is the longing to be met without masks.
⸻
My approach is rooted in:
• Mindfulness and present-moment awareness
• Parts-based exploration (like Internal Family Systems)
• Somatic presence (noticing your body’s wisdom)
• Trauma-informed compassion
• Neurodivergent-affirming care
I don’t offer advice or quick fixes. I offer presence. Deep listening. Intuitive reflection. So you can hear your own voice more clearly and begin to trust it.
Together, we co-create a space where healing doesn’t have to be forced, and transformation can unfold in its own time.
Because what you’re seeking isn’t out there. It’s already within you, awakening.
⸻
A word I return to often, from my teacher Jay Shetty:
“You can’t be what you can’t see. But once you see it in yourself—even just a flicker—it becomes possible.”
Language & Lived Experience
Sometimes we don’t know what we’re seeking until someone names it with care.
This page exists for those who may not have the words yet—but feel the truth in their bodies. Whether you’re navigating trauma, neurodivergence, deconstruction, or just the in-between—what you’ve lived makes sense and it has a place here.
Here, language isn’t used to define you, but to help you feel less alone.
To offer mirrors. To open doors.
To say: you’re not broken—your story makes sense.
What I Mean When I Say…
Trauma-Informed
I honor the tender places where your nervous system learned to protect you.
This means we move slowly, with choice, attunement, and care. Nothing is forced.
Your “no” is holy. Your silence is welcome. We listen to the body and trust its timing.
This space is shaped for safety, not performance.
Neurodivergent-Affirming
You don’t have to mask or explain.
Whether you think in spirals, pause to process, stim when you speak, or need longer silence—
I welcome all the ways your mind and body move.
Your way of being is not a problem. It’s part of your wisdom.
Spiritual Deconstruction
Sometimes what once felt like home begins to feel like harm.
You may be unlearning systems that silenced your truth—religious, cultural, familial.
It can be scary and feel like you're alone in the wilderness. So I honor this and hold space for processing, and reconstruct from the heart. Healing can only happen in spaces free from judgment.
Parts Work (IFS-Inspired)
We carry many parts: the people-pleaser, the protector, the inner child, the one who’s angry, the one who wants to disappear, and the inner critic .Here, we welcome each part with compassion—not to fix them, but to understand them.
Every part has a story. Every part belongs.
Somatic Awareness
Healing isn’t just in the mind—it lives in the body.
We may pause to notice your breath, your tension, your grounding.
We don’t push through. We feel through.
Coaching vs. Therapy
Therapy looks to the past for healing. Coaching walks with you in the present and future.
I don’t diagnose or treat mental illness. I witness, mirror, and honor what wants to emerge in you now.
Many of my clients do both. And we move at your pace, in your rhythm.
